“With the Bradford Odeon everything will be new for the fans and for the artists with some nice dressing rooms. I am so happy that it has been saved, it makes me happy and I am happy for Bradford.” Read what the Status Quo legend has to say on the restoration of our iconic venue!

Rock royalty (and one half of Status Quo), Francis Rossi, recently caught up with the guys over at Yorkshire Times to talk all things music, his brand new autobiography AND about the restoration of one of the region's most iconic venues...Bradford Live!

Graham Clark, Feature Writer for the Yorkshire Times asked Rossi what he thinks of the restoration plans and revealed that the new venue will boast a 4,000 capacity space as well as a ballroom amongst other things - here's what he had to say;

"4,000 that's big. It will be a lovely venue and will out do the Manchester Apollo which has not had much dosh put in it really, they may have done a bit out front but not in the dressing rooms but with the Bradford Odeon everything will be new for the fans and for the artists with some nice dressing rooms.I am so happy that it has been saved, it makes me happy and I am happy for Bradford. I would love to play there, in fact after we have spoken I am talking to our promoter about our touring plans and I will mention to him the new Bradford venue."

Such lovely words from someone so influential in the music industry. Who knows, maybe Francis might fancy heading back out on stage once we're complete? That would be amazing!
